PA Library reports 100%

According to Matt, Princess Anne Library has 100 % participation in Learning 2.0 @ the Beach online learning program. No, it's not a contest. And YES, participation is voluntary.

As an organization ,we are at a tipping point. It would be simply awesome if everyone was enjoying the moment together.

Get out there! Encourage your co-workers to join the fun!

If it's not a contest and participation is voluntary perhaps it would be better to celebrate department-wide successes and not focus on one agency. I have no way of knowing, other than people sharing with me, what the percentage of people who have joined is - and that's fine because it is voluntary. I do have several wonderful new blogs to track in my reader and I hope to get more. In the meantime, I'll continue to encourage people to participate and I'll cheer for the VBPL team ... and I won't be keeping score.

I am proud that P.A. has 100% participation - that's awesome. And I agree that it would be wonderful to somehow acknowledge all participants - however that might happen. But some may want to keep their participation to themselves as well. And I think one reason for less participation may be the difficulty of the mechanics of the program. I consider myself pretty "techy" but had struggles following some of the instructions and just "getting on board" with the whole program. It was a lot of information to digest. I can only imagine others might have suffered the same setbacks as well. And the emails regarding the spreadsheet indicate to me that something is not quite clear to everyone. But I stuck to it - I have my blog - and many other blogs via feeds - and I am enjoying it. A lesson in perseverance (or stick-to-it-ness?).
